He is a big sook and makes me feel bad every time I leave the house. As I am driving off, I look back and he is watching my through the side gate...kills me every day
It is shocking. If I have shoes on, he automatically thinks it is walk time, so he looks at me through the back door and waits...eventually I fold and we we wander off to smell the neighbourhood.
The dogs I was minding a few weeks ago at my Mum's (actually my brothers dogs but v. long story) would just follow me around the house looking at my hopefully/mournfully. Or follow me so closely that when I would change direction I would accidentally step back on one of their tiny little paws and they would yelp.
Now listen, even though I am in the best shape of my life -- and I am, by the way...I mean, fact of the matter is you could pretty much bounce a damn quarter off my butt, you know, if you...if you wanted to.

I am a terrible, terrible Puppy Auntie.
No, the fact they were following you around so much says you are a good puppy aunt...the foot stepping is an issue, but they have short memories.
I walked the boy for an hour and 20 minutes today...he is now all tuckered out.
